Front Office Manager, Hampton Inn Lewiston
Looking for the right candidate to lead our Front Desk team with superior guest service, follow Hilton Standards and hotel policies, communicates effectively and efficiently with other divisions and managers in the hotel operations, train, coach and evaluate staff, demonstrates self-confidence, positive energy, works independently, manage time, comfortable multi-tasking and in a fast paced work environment, effective listener, able to handle oneself in a calm and composed manner during difficult situations, creates weekly department schedule and participation in covering Manager on Duty shifts.
Greeting and checking guests in/out, answering multi-phone line, making
reservations, assisting guests with the local area, use of office equipment
(fax/copy machine) and cash handling. Inventory of our suite shop to include ordering and restocking, monitoring payroll and working directly with the General Manager and Director of Sales.
Open availability to work AM or PM shifts to include weekends and rotating holidays.
At least 3 years previous customer service experience and 1 year in supervisor or management in hotel front office. Must have strong interpersonal skills and
enjoy close contact with the public. Knowledge in computers to include these
software – Microsoft excel, word and outlook and able to navigate through the
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred. Must possess
the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
